I thought that I did. I see several of these people that would reject Anthropic. Their vison, their objectives and their methods out of hand.
I'm saying that Dario's cure to cancer that he talks about is most likely distilled from a person out there that put in the work like these people but got distilled by Anthropic before they got to the market with it. That person would never make it into this video. Nobody will ever know their name.
The safety classifier they can’t see while it is your data turns it into their data then they train on it. So basically this is a lie. Buyer beware. Some accounts, some if the time. The machine makes it anonymous maybe then they train in your expertise. They can not stop stealing your data and they can’t stop lying about it.
@scottstts This is the future. Big Tech can't help but steal your data and treat you like the product. You get this and you are free. Open Source would build out to replace every piece of spyware in your life.
They always promise and use zero retention and strong terms. look at the real ToS and EULA. It always has safety exceptions. Then behind the scenes they just have to have a bad classifier to mark it and then it is their data so no need to train on your data. the data is theirs once classified at potentially unsafe. no way to be notified it happened and no way or obligation for them to unwind and misapplication. Prove me wrong. It happens every single day. They talk about safety. they have no need to ever retain it. To do the same thing on a phone line takes a warrant. they just get you to agree to sign your rights away. That has not changed.
@PeterDiamandis Stop collecting your data and treat you like a customer and not the product. Don't say one thing then hide the truth in the ToS and do a different thing.
Would you train your own replacement?
Would you pay $300 a month to do it?
Because that’s what you’re doing every time you hand Grok your real work.
Yes, even in incognito or on a bot.
I have some personal news to share.
After two incredible years with Claude — countless late nights,
all-nighters, debugging sessions, and joyful moments — I’ve made the
difficult decision to leave Claude.
Today is my last day as a Claude subscriber. My subscription will
officially expire at the end of the day.
I’m incredibly grateful to @AnthropicAI, @claudeai, @ThariqS,
@bcherny, and everyone on the Claude Code team for being part of this
journey. Thank you for the tokens, the memories, and everything we’ve
built together.
I’m excited to share that, for my next chapter, I’ll be joining the
Codex subscription.
Looking forward to working with @tido and the Codex team, embracing
new challenges, performance resets, context compactions, and whatever
comes next.
Thank you, Claude. It’s been an incredible journey.
@GavinSBaker@bot What data does Grok Bot collect from the user? Does it classify safety and turn your data into their data? Does it notify you where it converts your data into xAi data?
I understand where you are coming from but if your work is important and valuable then it should not be done on Claude. It is not worth giving it away. Also qwen 3.8 27b just came out and by all accounts does the same quality work as opus 4.5-4.6. You can run it locally or there are many other great models that you can run with better ToS. It makes no logical sense to stay with Anthropic at this point.
