A father’s truth: knives don’t defend — they destroy.
Peter says knife crime is out of control. Almost 1 in 5 teachers have seen students with knives in school — that’s why education matters.

Our work with @Merseyrail began with 2 bleed control kits in Formby stations. This has now been rolled out across the network, with kits in every station & staff shown how to use them. A positive step for safety across the region!

Day two of #Sceptre took us to @pnecommunity with @in_mcginty, @Knifesaversuk & @JJeffect18.
Around 40 young people heard real stories about the impact of knife crime on victims and families, before getting practical bleed control training. 👏

In Southport, they were joined by @in_mcginty and the Southport Learning Trust who cheered them on as they began the first leg of their journey! 👏

Great to hear from Mrs Ferrigan from @MonksdownSchool who shared her experience of working with the campaign. Through incredible fundraising efforts, schools have helped fund bleed control equipment & emergency first aid sessions for pupils. Real impact led by young people. ❤️
OpSceptre was a huge success. We joined Lancashire VRN and the Lancashire Champions Programme for a 10 mile walk carrying a heart sculpture made from surrendered knives, the aim being to raise money to fund bleed control equipment and first aid training in the region!
On Friday kids from the North L’pool Learning Network relay event visited the @arrivanorthwest team to say thank you. Arriva sponsored the children and raised funds that will now support @Knifesaversuk bleed control kits and @ElevateEBP Mini Medics first aid sessions in schools!
@KensingPrimary thank you for an incredible day yesterday!
Our team loved working with your students.

Schools across Sefton came together to say NO to knife crime. Students ran school to school, passing a bleed control kit as a symbolic baton. Every school now has life-saving equipment on site. Chapter 2 — April 2026. Watch this space! 👀

Colin’s dad shares what happened after he was told his son had died — the reality of knife crime that’s rarely seen. Last year over 3000 children aged 10–17 were caught carrying a knife in England and Wales. One decision can change everything.
