Uliambiwa ukaze mshipi, while counties spent KES 13.17B on travel in 9 months. 11.4B domestic, 1.77B foreign travel.
We hear about revenue shortfalls and austerity for ordinary citizens, yet counties find 13 billion for travel. At what cost? Whose trips? Which “workshops”? What was delivered for the public?
This isn’t about whether travel is ever necessary. It’s about scale, transparency, and priority. When hospitals lack supplies and roads stay unpaved, but travel budgets keep climbing, the question is: who’s accounting for this money?
We need full disclosure of every trip, its purpose, and its outcome. Counties can’t keep crying poverty while burning billions on travel.
Kenya doesn’t have a revenue problem. It has an expenditure problem. The proof is in the pudding!!

#Accountability
The U.S. needs to review its security relationship with Uganda. Gen. @mkainerugaba's attacks on free speech, including shuttering major media houses this weekend, make him & the UPDF unfit partners. We should only work with those who advance regional security, not diminish it.
I visited Davis Lichuma at Nairobi Women Hospital today.
He’s not able to talk.
You don’t need to be told what he’s gone through.
His frequent tremors when asleep, most likely “post traumatic stress disorders” (PTSDs), tells it all.
Davis has been tortured.
This is not acceptable and those behind it must be held accountable. We cannot be a nation that tortures, maims and kills its youth just because they seek good governance.
Aden Duale lied.
June 26, 2026.
U.S. Air Force Lockheed Martin C-130J Hercules transport aircraft (reg. 06-8159, callsign ROGUE66) flew from Djibouti to Nairobi, before later continuing to the U.S. Ebola quarantine facility at Laikipia Airbase. The Ebola Quarantine Center is very much in business with construction proceeding as usual despite a court order.
Chief Justice @CJMarthaKoome
You're useless as the head of the @Kenyajudiciary. Resign now.
🚨 BREAKING:
President William Ruto today said KSh 7 billion has been allocated for the Nithi Bridge project.
Out of curiosity, I went through the Budget Estimates to verify the claim.
What I found surprised me.
The approved allocation I found is KSh 350 million, and the projected allocation for FY 2027/28 is KSh 200 million. I've attached the relevant budget pages in the replies.
Unless I'm missing another funding source, those figures are nowhere near KSh 7 billion.
So I can only think of two possibilities:
• There is a loan or financing arrangement that isn't reflected in the Budget Estimates. • Or the KSh 7 billion figure announced today is inaccurate or refers to something else.
If only KSh 350 million has been allocated this financial year, and KSh 200 million is projected for the next, when exactly does the project receive KSh 7 billion?
I'm genuinely open to correction. If anyone has official Treasury documents, loan agreements, or any government document showing where the KSh 7 billion comes from, please share them.
Facts matter more than politics.
Follow me here if you appreciate document-based fact-checking. We regularly go through government budgets, reports and official records to verify public claims.
Comrade Lichuma has been found.!!!!
He is currently at the Nairobi Women’s Hospital receiving care, though he is in a really bad condition and he looks visibly shaken.

This is not merely an assault on an individual, no, it is a chilling indictment of a system that allows enforced disappearances, torture, and extrajudicial abuse to flourish with impunity. After days of denials and unanswered questions about his whereabouts, Davis has emerged bearing the physical evidence of the violence inflicted upon him.
Those responsible for his abduction, torture, and illegal detention must be identified and held accountable. The Kenyan public deserves answers: Who took Davis? Where was he held? Who ordered his torture? Why was he abandoned and left for dead?
We will not accept silence, cover-ups, or excuses. An injury to one is an injury to all. The struggle for justice continues until every perpetrator is brought to account and until enforced disappearances and torture become a thing of the past.
UNMASK THE ABUSE!
Here is the statement I made a few moments ago at the Ghetto Foundation in Mathare, on Unlawful Policing and Protection of Constitutional Rights:
BREAKING: The son of Uganda’s president - and military chief - Muhoozi Kainerugaba has closed Nation Media Group outlets NTV, Spark TV and Daily Monitor and barricaded their offices, the company says
