The audit reveals that Finsprint, a private firm involved in the SHA payment system, deducts a 2% fee from every payment made to hospitals before the money is sent.
Strangely, it also says the firm's majority shareholder has no verifiable address.
An innocent Kenyan died in the hospital after being attacked by goons in Keundu at Linda Mwananchi's rally. The government is silent even after the killers were caught on camera. This is the state @WilliamsRuto is enabling.
Jimmy wanjigi was right. When the government, this government, runs out of avenues to borrow from, they will then come for our deposits. Now they want to start with SACCOs,next is the banks. Then MPesa. Ruto the man you refer to as a Strategist, has led us to hell
A Bill before Parliament seeks to require internet providers to assign every user a unique internet meter number, track usage in real time, and submit annual records to the Communications Authority.
ICJ Kenya has raised concerns that the proposal could enable mass surveillance and weaken privacy protections
Inside the Kenya Assemblies of God Church in Kiambaa, just outside Eldoret, over 200 terrified people were packed together on New Year's morning, January 1, 2008. Mostly women, children, the elderly, the disabled, and anyone too weak or scared to keep running. They had fled there the night before after hearing trouble was coming โ homes and farms already burning around them in the Rift Valley. It was a basic wooden building with iron sheets for a roof, thin walls, few windows, and just one narrow door. They figured a church would be safe. House of God. They were dead wrong.
The place was jammed with mattresses and blankets they had dragged in, hoping to get some rest. Outside, the air was thick with tension. The whole area was already boiling over from the disputed presidential election.
The violence erupted after the disputed December 27, 2007, presidential election. The incumbent, the late President Mwai Kibaki of the Party of National Unity (PNU), was declared the winner amid widespread allegations of rigging, while his main challenger, the late Raila Odinga of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), and his supporters cried foul. Tensions between communities โ aligned with one candidate or the other, with Kalenjin largely backing Odinga and Kikuyu largely backing Kibaki โ exploded into ethnic violence across parts of the country.
Around 10 AM that morning on January 1, 2008, the attack began. A huge mob โ hundreds strong โ came charging in. Faces painted with white clay, armed with pangas, axes, arrows, sticks, and anything they could grab. Shouting and chanting, they surrounded the compound. The few men guarding the place didnโt stand a chance. They were hacked, shot with arrows, some chased away. Then the attackers started sealing everything shut โ blocking the doors with bicycles, piling up blankets, mattresses, and dry maize leaves from the fields. They soaked the whole pile in petrol and paraffin.
And they set it on fire.
The flames exploded. Black smoke poured inside fast, turning the little church into an oven within seconds. People woke up choking, eyes burning, skin blistering. Screams everywhere โ women, children, everyone trampling over each other, clawing at the tiny windows, banging on walls and doors. Many never even got up from where they were sleeping.
Mothers fought desperately to save their children. One woman made it out the main door with her baby tied on her back, but the cloth caught fire. As she jumped, the baby slipped and fell straight back into the flames. She ran off screaming, her own hair on fire. Another mother, Githuthwa, shoved her older children out a window, then tried to follow with her three-year-old daughter Miriam in her arms. One of the attackers snatched the little girl and threw her back into the burning building. โLife is not forever,โ he shouted, pushing the mother away as she begged.
Seventeen people burned alive right there inside. Others died trying to escape โ cut down, hit with arrows, and later from severe burns. The final count was around 35. At least 20 of them were children, even babies. The elderly, the disabled, and the women shielding their kids suffered the worst. Over 70 survived, but with horrible burns, smoke-damaged lungs, and scars that never healed. When it was all over, bodies pulled from the embers were unrecognizable.
Some men refused to run and tried to hold the line to protect others. A woman stripped naked in desperation trying to pull her brother out. Ten-year-old Anthony Njoroge Mbuthia escaped with burns covering most of his body. Later in the hospital, in agony, he asked his father, โWhy did they burn the church? I thought the church is a sacred place?โ
Beneath it all was pure, deep hatred.
In Kiambaa, neighbors became monsters. They locked women, children, and the elderly inside a church โ a house of God โ and burned them alive.
This is what Kenya has turned into.
CS interior is busy watching pornography.
His PS is busy sponsoring goons to cause havoc across the country.
The killer regime is busy abducting innocent Kenyans exercising their democratic rights while the country is turning into Haiti.
โ๏ธA scene has unfolded at Kenyatta Hospital last night, a young boy called Driffel alias Driffo from Katwekera, Sarang'ombe Ward ward passed on at the hospital unexpectedly ๐ณ. He had been rushed there by his friends after being attacked earlier in the night, Despite having SHA, Kenyatta National Hospital declined to attend to him, demanding for upfront payment before being admitted to ICU, having failed to raise the money, his poor parents started calling friends and relatives to chip in and help as the poor boy remained on the Accident and Emergency bed writhing in pain. By the time his friends and relatives arrived, he had passed on since no care was offered. His friends started agitating and demanding for answers, Kenyatta National Hospital security responded by detaining them, but as the crowd increased, they were released and decided to take the body with them. Kenyatta National Hospital management must tell Kenyans if it is a money making facility or an Hospital ๐ค๐ค. His friends arrived late to save him๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ. Why decline SHA if it is working? This is totally unacceptable @KNH_hospital
Hahaha!
There's an employer who was asked to pay a security guard Ksh 900,000 for unfair dismissal, in March 2025.
The employer was served and she never responded to court summons nor appeared before the court.
The security guard served her via WhatsApp and he presented the WhatsApp message as his evidence.
The court concluded that the WhatsApp grey ticks were a proof that she saw the court documents and deliberately decided not to respond nor defend the suit.
The pair of grey ticks on WhatsApp was used as evidence in the Employment and Labour Relations Court,
And she was asked to pay the former security guard KSh992,146.60ย in compensation after the court found his dismissal unlawful and unfair.
Im just getting to understand this. This lady her name is Halima
DCI arrested her yesterday claiming she has been posting data that is a โthreat to national securityโ
Now the data we are talking about here is President Rutos flight records. Ruto uses private jets
Mark you,This is data that is openly available to everyone globally in almost 18 different apps including Flightradar24
Flightradar24 uses network supplied by over 50,000 ground recievers operated by Aviation companies and individuals.
If you want to know where air force is right now,you can just search it up.
Doesnt @DCI_Kenya know this?
So why are they frustrating this woman
And even the account they claim has been posting such,is not hers.
Its still tweeting even after having her in detention.
Why??
If Ruto does not want to be tracked when hes going to sin abroad, let him use His expensive V8 to go Netherlands.
His Government is ran by illetrates and murderers.
What a Shame on @DCI_Kenya
Release this woman.
A matatu conductor was moving a pregnant woman to safety during today's protests when police shot him in the head. He was rushed to MSF and unfortunately he's died. Police are killing us for asking for Kiarie and Zizou! Hii inchi gani?! #RutoMustGo
This is a clear video of uniformed police officers working closely with goons.
I'm surprised that those throwing stones in this video are being escorted by the police.
At the end of the day, Kipchumba Murkomen will come here to applaud them (police) for maintaining peace and order.
This regime has totally failed Kenyans.
" I met the owner of AI"
Hahaha.
Dear Rachel Ruto, the next time you vaccinate your cows,
Ensure the mad man who sleeps next to you is also vaccinated.
Mjinga sana!
In Kenya, politicians blow KSH 1.2 billion on wasteful travel in one year. KSH 7.7 billion in 10 years.
They spent 20% of the county's entire budget on 4 lawyers in one year. KSH 6.3 billion, which is about double what they spent on "development" activities ALL YEAR!
Think about how insane that is.
KSH 6.3 billion on legal fees, to 4 lawyers, and as the Auditor General calls then, avoidable. The county is "defending" itself in lawsuits about corruption and incompetence.
Despite a legal department with 110 lawyers, and a budget of KSH 530 million.
They spend all that, and then only spend KSH 3.2 billion on development, THE ENTIRE YEAR! About 50% what they paid to 4 external lawyers!
They steal and divert KSH 14.8 billion from citizens through illegal salaries and ghost workers in just three years.
And then, they go begging for KSH 2 billion to "fix drainage".
And, they go beg the president to donate one "Chapati Making Machine" - in order to deal with hunger in the city.
Diabolical.

AN INNOCENT LIFE CUT SHORT. JUSTICE FOR LAURA WESONGA MUST NOT WAIT
I am deeply saddened by the tragic death of Ms. Laura Wesonga, a KMTC Busia Campus student, who was fatally shot during a police operation in Marachi Estate, Busia Town yesterday evening. I extend my heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, fellow students, and the people of Busia.
The police have a constitutional duty to protect life. No law enforcement operation should result in the loss of innocent lives. Every operation must be conducted with professionalism, restraint, and full respect for the Constitution.
I therefore call for an immediate, independent, and transparent investigation by @IPOA_KE with any officer found responsible held fully accountable. The @NPSOfficial_KE operations should be intelligence led, professional policing that protects innocent citizens while firmly dealing with crime.
The political temperatures in Busia must cool down immediately. I urge political leaders across Busia and the wider nation to fully embrace democracy. In a democracy, dissent is a right. Not everyone must support you. Using hired goons to intimidate rivals and settle political scores is primitive, illegal, and unacceptable.
#JusticeforLauraWesonga must be swift, transparent, and uncompromising. The people of Busia deserve security, accountability, and respect for the sanctity of human life.
