#RutoMustGo
I went quiet since this morning
It’s not by choice, but because of the constant back and forth at the hospital yesterday and today.
I'm sorry if you were waiting to hear from me.
Here's where we stand: KES 272,999 on M-Pesa and KES 409,350 on Mchanga and We are so close to crossing 700,000
Frame 2: Balance after transferring to Bank
Frame 3: Current MPESA balance
I look at these numbers and I'm genuinely humbled 🙏🏻 ❤️
We are only 16 days away from the Harambee on 5th September, and there's still a long way to go before we reach Sh6M. Sixteen days can move fast, and I need this final stretch to count.
If you've been meaning to give, please don't wait until the last few days.
If you've already given, please share this once more.
Someone new needs to see this before time runs out. Every hour between now and the 5th matters.
I'm tired some days, in and out of hospital rooms more than I'd like. But I'm not done fighting, and I know you're not either. 🙏

I just read the most beautiful true life story ever! There was a train station in Japan that ran just for one girl, the Kami Shirataki station. It was supposed to shut down due to low use, until Japan rail station found out she uses it everyday to get to school. Instead of closing it, they changed the train schedule to match her school hours. The train stops only twice a day, once to pick her up in the morning and once to bring her back in the evening. No other passengers, no extra stops, just for her. When she graduated in 2016, the station quietly shut down. What a country!🥹❤️👏🏽
Last year, I was involved in a car accident. The hospital refused to admit me, stating that I MUST register for SHA first — despite me telling them I had whatever money was needed for my treatment. Long story short: I registered for SHA at 7,800. When I was being discharged, SHA covered only 3k. I paid 17k out of pocket.
This is a real personal story, and i have receipts.
@PaulKoigi@IamDennisOtieno If we knew that we may live longer than we imagined, we wouldn't fancy heavily budgeted funerals that sometimes force us into borrowing loans.
Nonetheless Event organizers are now eating well from these occasions.

Who thinks for this government? How do you justify forcing a minimum wage tea picker in Kericho or waiter in Kwale to finance middle class housing in Nairobi?
