Big Debate: A school in Mukono has indefinitely suspended over 10 students...for alleged crimes ranging from drug abuse, sharing porn & taking part in house orgies. The issue though is that all these "crimes" happened during holidays. The students were not in school. Their parents are now up in arms. They argue that "sins" committed out of school time can't be punished at school. One parent says, "They were not in school, not in uniform. Those are cases for us parents to handle."
Anyway, is a school right to punish students for crimes outside school, during holidays?

Speaker Jacob Oboth-Oboth was reading President Museveni's speech when Kadodi dancers stormed the VIP area. Security couldn't control the surging crowd.

Oboth-Oboth had to escape the chaos. The Imbalu is the biennial Bagisu initiation ritual where boys become men. Over ten thousand circumcisions expected this year.

Locals say the dancers were following a spiritual pathway for a mudding ritual. Some believe uncircumcised officials upset the ancestral gods, causing the disruption.

This isn't the first time Kadodi dancers have stormed the same VIP section at Mutoto. Cultural tensions appear to be recurring.
