‘A core capacity of leadership is the ability to make right decisions while flying blind, basing them on knowledge, wisdom, & the ability to stay wedded to an overriding goal.’ – @warrenthebennis
Last week, I served as a facilitator at the GaPSC Teacher Pipeline Summit at Fort Valley State University.
Strong collaboration with educators across the state on strengthening the teacher pipeline.
Proud to represent Richmond County School System, CSRA RESA, and East P20.
A week at @TheMasters reinforced this: Excellence at scale is designed.
Everything works because the system works.
We hire for the “seed,” but results grow from the “soil.”
Strong systems make performance sustainable.

Been a little quiet on here for obvious reasons. My seed has been in the soil.
Delayed by Hurricane Helene, it felt poetic that my defense came with tornado warnings and school closures.
Storms and all, I successfully defended my dissertation.

Project Alpha with the @BoysandGirlsClub in Thomson, then a CommUNITY service at Mt. Olive in Evans, marking one year after Hurricane Helene. Service is how we live our values. Give one hour this month: mentor, support a neighbor, join a team. Who will you serve this week?
Seed, take heart.
You choose the ground, the rest, the pressure, the push that breaks the shell.
Darkness is not failure. It is a season.
Root where you are. Rise when ready.
We will keep tending around you. #SeedAndSoil#PeopleCentered
Celebrating HR Professionals Week
They gave us a day. We made it a week!
From shout-outs & team lunch to wellness breaks, HR Taboo, t-shirts & superlatives, our People Committee showed what it means to Prove What’s Possible.
