I went to the grocery store to pick up a few things for dinner, there’s an oriental woman in front of me with an infant in a car seat in the basket. The clerk rings her up and she pulls out a WIC card to pay but there’s still a balance, she’s trying to figure out what isn’t covered. She was trying to purchase three pumpkins with her WIC card and was not happy they weren’t covered. She finally decides to put them back, pays and leaves. I finish my transaction and find her in the parking lot loading the infant into a very nice BMW SUV! She obviously isn’t hurting for money but didn’t want to pay for pumpkins! I’m so sick of seeing this everywhere!

Massive concession: Los Angeles election officials just told a federal court they have no independent way to verify citizenship beyond what voters attest. (They simply take their word for it.) Under federal law, only citizens may vote in federal elections. Yet California has not acted on the list of 20,000 suspected noncitizens or agreed to set aside their ballots. American citizens’ votes are being diluted in California.
