NBA fans are going to sit here and tell you Nate Ament is a bust.

I’m here to tell you I watched EVERY single Tennessee game this season.

He got SIGNIFICANTLY better in SEC play. He developed a lot at Tennessee.

He averaged 16.7 PPG & 6.3 RPG without even playing his best.

He’s 6’10 still growing into his body. Became a really good spot up shooter. Can get to hoop downhill. 3 point shooting does have to improve but he really does have the KD type jump shot that he can shoot over almost anyone.

Was injured in the NCAA tournament and still played for his team. Locker room guy. He could’ve easily shut it down and played for his team.

Against Texas A&M 23/7
Against Ole Miss 28/6
Against Kentucky 29/8
Against Oklahoma 29/6
Against Auburn 27/8

In all of those games there were moments he completely took over the game.

He’s still raw, but I think in 2/3 years Nate Ament will be pretty damn good. It’s more than just stats and I’ll stand on the fact that Nate Ament won’t be a bust from watching him every game and seeing the improvements he had through the year.
