More than 100 community leaders, parents, and church partners attended the spring community meetings hosted by Superintendent Dr. Nivens. He gave updates about the hypergrowth within the District, new facilities, Innovative School Day, funding, and how we can work together.🍎

The Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA) has announced that its new VP is our very own Superintendent @Dr_RNivens. Currently, he serves as the chair of the TASA Advocacy Committee and holds a position on the Executive Committee.

Preventative Maintenance Technician Louis Ringer, has served the District for 48 years. He’s a proud graduate of @THELamarCHS. As a student, Mr. Ringer received mentorship, and attributes his work ethic to the student work programs and his mom.

He loves to eat at Karlito’s, sipping ☕️ at Blockhouse Coffee, and enjoys designing furniture.
His advice to students is, "Join that club and try out for that team. Don’t rush to grow up.”
