december, close the chapters that don’t speak to my spirit and open up the pages that remind me of who i am. give me the courage to release myself from what i’ve outgrown so i can fit into shoes suited for where my journey is going. balm me in patience and soak my bones in love.
i hope whatever lessons you carry with you into the new year act as the seeds you need to grow into whoever you need to be, i hope you learn to water those lessons so you know how to swim whenever old cycles threaten to drown you.
If you have something valuable to share, SHARE IT with the world. That’s the way you honour your calling and leave your imprint. Your gifts were given to you to share with others, not to keep them to yourself & let them die in you.
i hope,
you never get tired of giving yourself chances at self love every time you feel like you’ve let yourself down, i hope you never measure your worth by how many times you’ve fallen short regardless of expectation, i hope you find ways to feed your mistakes with softness.
So… we have news. You might have noticed our DJs talking about “919” over the past few weeks. That’s because we’ve simplified our name. 919 is still about feeling good anytime, all the time, and we’ve got some exciting plans lined up 🤩
What do you think of our new look?
i hope,
you don’t spend your whole life trying to prove people wrong. i hope you realize that ego becomes a shallow place to swim from and there’s no depth in trying to get people who don’t believe in you to return waves in your direction. i hope you find peace in who you are.
there’s nothing more romantic than someone choosing to learn you. flipping the pages in your soul delicately and digesting your chapters with an open mind no matter how difficult or uncomfortable some of your moments read, treating each bookmark with no judgment, but pure love.
"Instead of feeling that you lost the day after a bad morning, reframe each day as 4 quarters:
1. Morning
2. Midday
3. Afternoon
4. Evening
If you blow one quarter, just get back on track for the next one. Fail small, not big."
–Gretchen Rubin
