@ClanKnown @Chris_Dring What about Hi-Fi Rush for Tango? Did really well considering its small budget, yet they got jettisoned.

I’m just saying I’d be surprised if inXile is still part of the Microsoft stable by the end of next year. And I say that as someone who’s excited for the game.

@ClanKnown @Chris_Dring Other studios they’re jettisoning are of a similar size 🤷‍♂️

It’s nothing on inXile but I’d expect Microsoft will have unrealistic goals for the game, it won’t meet them and the studio will suffer as a result. But sure maybe they’ll manage to go independent again 🤷‍♂️

@DoesItPlay1 Ok let me rephrase it…. All releases on platforms that people actually buy physical games for have been code in a box 😉

I must say it’s kind of funny that the only platform that got an actual physical release is the one that all the disc releases end up in the bargain bin.

I give it 12 months before ‘Halo Studios’ is a Call of Duty support studio 😬

Also the lack of mention of inXile makes me think it’s a case of; if Clockwork Revolution is a success - move to Bethesda, if it’s not - closure.

Sad times.

@FightTezaFight @DustinCanFly It’s not just about physicals though. It’s about the monopoly they’ll have on pricing. Sony need to come out and clarify how they will encourage a competitive market in the absence of physical media.
