Somalia has not committed genocide, nor does it buy American politicians or wage wars in the Middle East using American taxpayers' money. Nothing justifies giving in to a campaign that seeks to equate Somalia with Israel.

There are nearly 60,000 Somali Americans in Ohio, and there is nothing controversial about celebrating Somalia's Independence Day with them.

We deserve an explanation. Why was the post deleted?
