I’ve lived abroad for many years and heard my share of racist comments. The one that gets me is when a *insert western nationality here* “expat” (ie economic migrant), complains about “local attitudes” AND how “immigrants have ruined our culture back home”. In the SAME BREATH.

Didn’t they collectively fail in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria? Don’t those experiences, by definition, discredit their “analyses”?

Just a reminder that settler colonialism is very real across the globe. That settlers do not see the occupied and the indigenous as “worthy” of life. Whether it be Palestinians or First Nations, colonizers never seem to be satisfied. A plague on this earth.
