Currently reading Yamamoto's book, interesting points so far:

• Bridge, handstands, forward/backward rolls, side steps, and lateral running were performed everyday to develop full body awareness

• His training revolved around maximizing the neural connection between the brain and the muscles, and how efficient the CNS is at firing.

• Early on he placed no importance on mechanics. Just performed the above exercises, threw the javelin and the mechanics molded itself.
