తెలంగాణలో ప్రైవేట్ స్కూళ్లు, ప్రీ-స్కూళ్లు వేగంగా పెరుగుతున్న నేపథ్యంలో ప్రతి విద్యాసంస్థకు చట్టబద్ధమైన గుర్తింపు, భవన భద్రత, ఫైర్ సేఫ్టీ, స్ట్రక్చరల్ స్టెబిలిటీ, పరిశుభ్రత, తాగునీరు, అర్హత కలిగిన ఉపాధ్యాయులు తదితర తప్పనిసరి ప్రమాణాలు అమలులో ఉన్నాయా అనే అంశంపై సమగ్ర తనిఖీలు అత్యవసరం.

దేశంలోని ఇతర రాష్ట్రాల్లో విద్యాసంస్థలు, కోచింగ్ సెంటర్లలో జరిగిన అగ్ని ప్రమాదాలు అమాయక విద్యార్థుల ప్రాణాలను బలిగొన్నాయి. అలాంటి విషాదాలు తెలంగాణలో జరగక ముందే ప్రభుత్వం, సంబంధిత శాఖలు ముందస్తు చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలి.

నేను ఈ అంశంపై ప్రజాప్రయోజన ప్రాతినిధ్యాన్ని రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వానికి మరియు సంబంధిత అధికారులకు సమర్పించాను.

నా ప్రధాన డిమాండ్లు:
1. రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా అన్ని ప్రైవేట్ స్కూళ్లు & ప్రీ-స్కూళ్లపై ప్రత్యేక తనిఖీలు
2. గుర్తింపు లేని లేదా చట్టపరమైన నిబంధనలు పాటించని విద్యాసంస్థల గుర్తింపు
3. ఫైర్ సేఫ్టీ, భవన భద్రత, మౌలిక వసతులపై ప్రత్యేక ఆడిట్
4. జిల్లా వారీగా గుర్తింపు పొందిన విద్యాసంస్థల జాబితాను ప్రజలకు అందుబాటులో ఉంచడం
5. పిల్లల భద్రతకు ప్రాధాన్యత ఇస్తూ బాధ్యులపై చట్టపరమైన చర్యలు

ప్రమాదం జరిగిన తర్వాత స్పందించడం కాదు... ప్రమాదం జరగకుండా నివారించడమే నిజమైన పరిపాలన.

Visited the Sainik Welfare Dept Head office in Panjagutta. Inspected the entire premises and office and advised more cleanliness , before being given a PPT on the work being done , the issues being faced and the plans for the future by the new Director Brig AR Rao and his team.

About 40,000 ex servicemen and families are registered on the Mana Sainikulu website. Apart from cash grants and allowances from the state govt and also the centre, there are several other schemes like in housing, education, employment for their welfare. Not many are being implemented due to lack of liaison with the state government. The Flag day fund and the annual budget allotted by the state govt are the main sources of ESM welfare.There is a request pending in govt for creation of TESCO or “T ex servicemen Corporation “like in Maharashtra and other states which will enable large scale employment of ex servicemen as security guards , escorts and other such services.

It was a learning experience because usually this dept is out of focus of the regular daily govt work but can make huge difference to the lives of 40 k families.
