The @YouthCOE Democratic Schools and Student Participation Group called for member states to
- assure free access to #qualityeducation for all youth
- involve youth in the creation of #civiceducation curricula
- give youth the power to concretely influence decisions in schools
The #CommonwealthYouthForum held in Rwanda brought together #youth representatives from over 54 countries to discuss issues impacting youths across the world, and propose solutions to them.
@YacopoBaldacch1 was one of the speakers at the Youths for Sustainability Conference organised by the Ministry for Environment, Energy and Enterprise and the Energy and Water Agency. He spoke about the critical role of youths in advocating for sustainability.
During yesterday's Member Organisations' Meeting, 6 Directors were appointed based on the following themes; Arts and Culture, Civic Education, Civic Engagement, The Environment, Health and Marketing.
The Member Organisations also approved the Council's Workplan for 2022-23.
