@douglaschu_ I suppose it's different when you have elementary school kids getting on the internet. I didn't know shit about most pop culture when I was a little kid unless it had to do with the Ninja Turtles (which was the only reason I knew who Vanilla Ice was)
The opposite of this question is WAY more interesting to me. Like who are the greatest wrestlers that practically nobody has ever heard of?
Like some dude who only ever had 2 matches in Australia in 1993 but he was fucking amazing. That's who I want to hear about.
@MattD_SC Imagine how different the trajectory of women's wrestling in the US in the 90s could have been if WWF had decided to push her as a serious wrestler instead of the "lol she's fat" bullshit. They could have done some amazing things with the talent they had access to.
Started a new medication last night and so far I have slept 13 out of the last 16 hours, and I think I'm going to take another nap soon
So if you need me anytime in the next month, I'll be in bed
@douglaschu_ As a fan of Will Kroos I kinda like it. Pro wrestling is the perfect place for an oversized 13 year old who can yeet a grown man across the ring
My next door neighbors have started having daily religious gatherings of 30-40 people in their backyard, chanting about God. I had to double check with my roommate to make sure that he could hear them too and that I wasn't just hallucinating again
I can't make out most of what they're chanting because it's all in Spanish, and my Spanish is only good enough to pick up a few words here and there, but they seem to have the recitations led by children and they're really into Santa Maria, Madre de Dios
