I love that Belle chose to use “we” and “us” rather than “I” It just goes to show that they are still in this together. This has never been about going solo or parting ways. It’s always been about giving each other room to grow individually, but that does not mean having to grow apart.

Taking different paths doesn’t automatically mean heading to different destinations. Some may prefer a different route, and that’s okay. Whether one takes a rougher road and the other a longer one, it doesn’t matter. What is important is having the same end destination.

When you are done exploring your own paths and have reached your end goals together, we will be there cheering you on at the finish line because all roads lead to DonBelle endgame😉

Maybe ‘for now’ will be our ‘always’.

A daunting phrase that once carried so much uncertainty and hurt has now become one that holds so much promise and excitement for what’s ahead. But you see, that’s the DonBelle thing. They can turn less-than-ideal situations into something beautiful, just like how they rose to fame during a pandemic and a network shutdown — unexpected, practically impossible… almost like magic.

‘See you later’ and ‘For now’ do not imply finality. They are words said when you’ve had a great time and are looking forward to more in the future.

So yes, this is us: Donny, Belle, and Bubblies, for now. Until that ‘For now’ turns into ‘We’re back’. We will be here, in the empire you have built, that has become our home.
