I have extracted this from a document Itumbi has forwarded to their WhatsApp groups, to guide their MPs when going for media interviews.

They say that the price of crude oil has risen to $90 dollars per barrel, that is why the cost of fuel is high in Kenya. They also raise the issue of the war in Ukraine. When they were demonizing Uhuru over fuel prices, wasn’t crude oil going for $114? And weren’t we at the height of the war in Ukraine?

Back then, Itumbi himself wrote and said that the fuel prices had nothing to do with the war in Ukraine. Yet they now they want to introduce that angle as if Kenyans are f00ls.

Anyway, mambo ni matatu
