I’ve heard some people say it’s “too big to fail” since it’s continuously collecting data and around 85% of the tokens are staked. But I’m not fully convinced.

From what I understand, a large portion of the supply is still held by insiders, early OGs, and miners — possibly over 4M tokens combined. That kind of concentration is a risk ☢️
I still hold TAO, just not staking it at the moment.

🚨 CRYPTO FUELS DRONE PURCHASES BY RUSSIA AND IRAN-LINKED NETWORKS

Crypto is increasingly being used by Russia- and Iran-linked networks to fund drone purchases, according to a new report by Chainalysis.

Since 2022, pro-Russia groups have raised over $8.3M in crypto donations, with funds traced directly to drone and component purchases. The report also links an IRGC wallet to overseas procurement of drone parts.

“On the blockchain, there’s this incredible opportunity, once you have identified the vendor to see the counterparty activity and make assessments that help clarify that utilization and the intent behind the purchase,” said Andrew Fierman.
