It actually annoys med that they don’t include Salah in these. He is literally still our player and haven’t signed for anyone new!
Btw - he will always be ours ❤️
I actually think Gordon would be a brilliant signing for us. Can cover all three forward positions, great speed, great pressing capacity, goalscorer. I’m here for it.
De Zerbi came into an injury-hit Spurs side and picked up more points in 7 games than Slot’s #LFC, despite his own mitigating circumstances. The difference is accountability. Slot rarely admits coaching could be part of the problem, with most blame on injuries or external factors
For the final time. ❤️
Salah's journey at Anfield comes to an end - the only three-time winner of the PFA Players' Player of the Year.
All the best, Mo. 👑
I have witnessed this club go from doubters to believers, and from believers to champions. It took hard work and I always did everything I could to help the club get there. Nothing makes me prouder than that.
Us crumbling to yet another defeat this season was very painful and not what our fans deserve. I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies. That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it.
Winning some games here and there is not what Liverpool should be about. All teams win games.
Liverpool will always be a club that means a great deal to me and to my family. I want to see it succeed for long after I have moved on.
As I’ve always said, qualifying to next season’s Champions League is the bare minimum and I will do everything I can to make that happen.
Having followed the reds for 60 seasons now, I’ve (of course) seen several dips where we have fallen below our normal levels and been off the pace. But I can honestly say that in all those 60 seasons this is the first one where I no longer look forward to seeing us play.
Souness was sacked after finishing on 60 points, Evans was demoted after finishing on 65 points, Houllier was sacked after 60 points, Rafa was sacked after 63 points, Rodgers was sacked a couple months after finishing on 62 points. We have 59 points.@TheKopHQ@indykaila
Slot's tenure:
- 1st half of 24/25:
Slot tweaks + Klopp's intensity residues still in place --> top
- 2nd half of 24/25:
Gradual decline as that intensity started to fade away (and found out a bit)
- 25/26:
Totally found out and players aren't trained properly.
Perhaps the single most annoying thing with Slot is that he, by no means, is the character a Liverpool manager should be. He represents the club in a way it should not be represented. Swinging against his own players, who happen to be club legends, and acting arrogantly.
@umirf1 Easier to go from low to high(er) press with 532 and keep opposition on one side. Also more counterattacking opportunities. 5-4-1 is even more solid in terms of structure and space coverage, but often more passive and can become very deep more often, for longer.
