@LogicalKangaroo@KingofRoot@Timcast Petty tyrants are tyrants to the end. I'm not speaking on the politics though - I'm referring to maybe we can have a discussion about what resource allocation would best support the country and protect the populace as a whole.
@LogicalKangaroo@KingofRoot@Timcast@LogicalKangaroo it does raise the question as to where resources would be best utilized then perhaps? Maybe NY and CA could handle the caseload but more rural locations are having tougher times due to a lack of beds/equipment.
@LogicalKangaroo@KingofRoot@Timcast Doesn't change the fact that they refused help. In unknown times, the last thing people should be doing is refusing aid.
@LogicalKangaroo@Timcast And one of said experts (Osterholm) also said a 4-6 week lockdown is a good idea, contrary to the WHO which has stated lockdowns are a bad idea.
He walked it back yes, but doesn't change that we can how he thinks.
@LogicalKangaroo@Timcast And we're not on our own - we have our communities, Twitter, and other platforms to help our fellow human beings out in a dire time. We shouldn't be sitting here politicizing and polarizing medicine. This i think we can agree on.
@LogicalKangaroo@Timcast Very true, and a bad move on his part. And the future man at the helm in 2021 will likely rather have everyone stay locked indoors and bury his head in sand and memantine. But that sounds like a better approach right?
@LogicalKangaroo@Timcast Agreed, we need to make sure healthcare workers are protected. I'm saying, as a healthcare worker myself, that staff level doesnt matter if patients can't be admitted or treated bc of a lack of beds/rooms/equipment.
