The KPSL is a Strat-O-Matic NL-only league based out of South Jersey. It's a 10-team league including managers with an insane amount of nerdness for baseball.
The KPSL held its 22nd annual NL-only @StratOMatic draft last night at NFL Films. The Dbacks were first on the clock and took Luis Arraez!
Let's play!!!

π΄ Nationals 2023 outlook π΄
β 2022 season: 46-38, WORLD CHAMPIONS OF BASEBALL
β Off-season acquisitions: Luis Castillo, Yan Gomes
β Off-season departures: Jose "Broken Hand" Altuve
β Notable draft picks: #10, #20 overall
β 2023 KPSL projections: 4th place
π Prediction: The Nationals offense is just gross, and I don't think anyone would argue that it could be #1 in the league. But pitching may prevent the Nats and their "Natitude" from going back-to-back: Craig Kimbrel and Josh Hader are very vulnerable cards.
π Prediction: The Dodgers have the hitting, and are among the best in SP. But defense is a huge question mark and it wouldn't be surprising if it cost them a few crucial games.
Record: 39-45 (8th in KPSL)
π Prediction: There's seasonal depression and then there's whatever is going on with the Giants after their early postseason exit. The team has quality talent; most of them horribly underperformed for this year. This offense will be B.A.D. BAD.
Record: 33-51 (tied for last)
π Prediction: The Cardinals are among the most complete teams in the league: they can hit, field, and pitch. And they have a good manager. Arenado and Freeman will be among the MVP candidates this year. Can the Cards finally bring the 'ship home?
Record: 48-36, 1st in North
π Prediction: The hitting will need to carry the load in Coors to give the Rocks' a chance. An early pick will need to address SP (currently projected to be the worst staff in the league). A playoff berth - if any - will come to the wire.
Record: 41-43, 6th place (4th in North)
