@rjsmith265At@PaigeSpiranac More time per stroke and more time wasted between strokes are MUCH bigger factors than number of strokes.
Logic is harder than math.
@UESgolf@PaigeSpiranac It's called "ready golf", and it has nothing to do with skill. My wife was a 30+ handicap when she used to keep it, and plays faster than just about anyone I know.
@Sub70@golfsub70 Do you guys have any kind of hole-in-one recognition program? Got my first Saturday on the 4th hole at Golden Bear at Indigo Run on Hilton Head. 699 Pro (black) 9 iron from 130 yards.
@MyGolfSpy Learn to keep the ball in play off the tee. Don't try to make hero shots. This will help you avoid the big numbers that drive most golfers over 100.
And always remember, for someone trying to break 100, there's nothing wrong with a bogey. Bogey golf = 90.
@imRyanDietz @MyGolfSpy Faulty old school/traditional thought. Keeping the ball in play and in good position off the tee is incredibly important. It sets up the entire hole. If I'm driving well, I'm scoring well. If I'm not, it's a long round.
@imRyanDietz @xbergermanx@MyGolfSpy Disagree strongly. If you're always short or in trouble off the tee, you're lying 3 or 4 by the time the short game comes into play.
A ball hit into the woods that takes an extra shot to get out, or a penalty with a drop in a bad spot is much worse than a putt missed by an inch.
@Fehertwit@Yoda4ever I have two rescue beagles. They are the most wonderful dogs I've ever known. It's so sad that people can take advantage of their loving nature and abuse them.
@sleepingman9449@HOFSteveTasker This year it was Josh Allen committing 4 turnovers in the divisional round, including the worst fumble since the Butt Fumble.
There, I fixed it for you.
