@coinbase Well played. This has been happening for MONTHS. Over and over again to “verify my ID” (taking days to do) and kick me out again. Seems to me your asking for a class action lawsuit. Anyone else in? #bitcoin#crypto
@KarenFo13054212@MTGrepp@dom_lucre Most of the “elite” live nowhere near Lahaina. It is a locals community. Not like Kannapali or Wailea. People drawing attention to celebrities that “miraculously had homes spared” are ignorant. It’s like saying a home was “spared”’in Orlando if a hurricane hit St Pete.
@Andiesimplelife I saw that and am not challenging his experience at all. I was stating my own in the morning. Seems like the only real stories are coming from people who were there. So confusing and not helping the mainland understand how horrific this really is!
@Cheekyoziechick They “orchestrated” a hurricane 1000 miles away to kick up 80mph winds, knock down power lines and then hit the island with a laser from space? Social media has the latest updated real news. But sifting through the crap like this makes it tough for people to get!
@adelpreore There were down power lines EVERYWHERE by 7am. It’s going to be tough to trace which one (if any) caused this. This was 8:30 am on our way out of town heading south after being turned around at several roads closed by the electric company.
I’m true blue but can’t for the life of me understand why there isn’t a military National Guard presence in Lahaina to facilitate a huge response to the needs of the people. They need so much more help than they are getting @POTUS
@karldickey And the media’s lack of coverage is disgusting. @CNN how many dead will it take before you don’t have to scroll past 25 #trump stories to get an update on #lahaina ?
@Andiesimplelife The main hwy was closed at 8:30am by the electric company. No police were on site. When we approached, we were told by 2 young girls “closed - turn around” When asked how to get to bypass, we were told “I don’t know. Maybe 2,3 or 5 intersections that way”
@RonMann19@CallMeK1123@Breaking911 Safeway? This was Safeway at 7:45am the morning of the fires. The electric was out by 5:30am. Anything perishable was gone shortly thereafter.
In my experience, the island is extremely divided. People saying don’t come and go home started way before the fires. Others saying please come bc of how businesses suffered during Covid. Unsure of what the proper balance is. I see both sides. #hawaii https://t.co/05biVFWWhA
THIS!!! This is what is was really like! …. Finally - the full story is coming out! “Lahaina resident tells of desperate escape with cars stopped, wall of fire in rearview mirror - Los Angeles Times” https://t.co/gJHkj7iay9
It takes two seconds to retweet this. You could help Kim find her father.
Still missing. Please share!
My sister-in-law @berly3kim is looking for her father, Maurice Buen, aka “SHADOW.” 1028 Wainee St in Lahaina.

For everyone asking how the #lahaina fire could’ve happened so quickly. Imagine that debris being on fire in 80mph winds. This was 9:30am trying to leave Lahaina… several hours before. This video may be used by any and all media. Spread the word to get help to #maui!
@mauipualaninui There were downed power lines. They were blocked by city. But NO ONE provided direction. We were stopped going south by very young girls working and when we asked how to get to bypass were told “go back the way you came 2-3… maybe 4 intersections to your right.” Insane.
