@RonnieAdkins@palmettoarmory Thanks for reminding me that I still have one of those VA–15 lowers that I still need to build into something. I just need to decide what it should be.
@fakeftedd@realDrewMullins@ITshortking2@mnsibley@VincentParry2@CaeruleusCanis Sorry I can't be more helpful, but unless things have changed in the last few years, there really aren't any long range options. That always drove me nuts when I lived in Augusta County.
Dead Zero here in TN goes to 1000yds, but that's a hell of a drive from anywhere in VA.
@rightsofrefusal@PrintsandtheRev Nice score!
My first EDC was a new Smith 457 I bought the day I turned 21. Wish I had kept it (traded it for an XD40 when they first came out🤮), especially now that I've ended up kinda collecting S&W autos.
@mwfoutch1 That’s awesome! Looks like there was a lot of good 6m SSB DX going on.
I missed out on the 6m opening, unfortunately. Had to drop my antennas last night because we’ve been surrounded by t-storms all day long.
@ElRealvatoloco@TheIOGuy Rapey Ragland himself popped up in my feed a couple weeks ago for the first time since all that went down.
Was surprised to see he's still around and still had followers from this corner of X.
@wayofftheres@Mrgunsngear@YouTube@YouTubeCreators@langdontactical@TeamHornady I’ve had 3… my grandfather’s 1970 Wingmaster and two 2012-ish Express models. The WM is a gem, obviously, but the Express models are straight garbage.
I sold one because the lifter was too weak to run slugs. The other is mechanically rough as shit and also won’t stop rusting.
@Dianexis Alternatively... The TOPS EL Chete gets waaaay more use camping and in the woods than anything else I own.
It's perfectly heavy and balanced for chopping, and it's rugged enough that you can beat on it with a log to split firewood.
