Honestly, I would have been completely finished in that theater. The shock alone would have taken me out before I even understood what was happening.

🎬 BLACK HAWK DOWN (2001)

There are war movies where you can relax during the quiet parts. Black Hawk Down is not one of them.

A mission that was supposed to be quick turns into hours of absolute chaos after two Black Hawk helicopters are shot down in Mogadishu. From that point the movie barely gives you space to breathe. Soldiers are trapped, rescue attempts keep going wrong and everybody is just trying to make it to the next street alive.

What got me is how confusing the fighting feels. Half the time even the soldiers don’t seem to know where the bullets are coming from. Ridley Scott really said if they’re stressed, the audience must be stressed too 😭

This one gets an 8.5/10 from me.

Rewatch value? Yes. But prepare for two hours of tension.

One small mission turned into “omo, how do we even leave this place?” very quickly.
