Quick question for you, friends!
We’ve had some lovely feedback on the idea of a “What’s in My Bag?” section — where indie authors share a photo or short note about the everyday items they carry (notebooks, pens, books, little comforts, etc.).
@novelhive_ai also suggested a fun series on author rituals or desk setups — and I think that could be really interesting too!
Would you like to see either (or both) of these in future issues of Indie Author News?
Reply below and let me know which one excites you more! If there’s enough interest, we’ll start featuring them from the next issue 💫

Guys, something came up. We most likely won’t be continuing Indie Author News or this page anymore. If that changes before the next issue is due, I’ll let you know.

@NOVELHIVE_AI Thank you for the lovely suggestion @novelhive_ai .
We really like the idea of featuring author rituals and desk setups. It would make a nice, personal addition to the newsletter.
We’re considering starting something similar soon!

There was a time when more care and craftsmanship went into writing. Today, whether in traditional or self-publishing, a large amount of content is produced quickly, often driven by trends, market demands, or the desire for quick commercial success. As a result, the overall quality of published writing has become more inconsistent.
Friday gentle wrap: The week is winding down. A book, a comfortable spot, and permission to simply be. What are you reading to close out the week? ♡ #CozyReads#KRBOOKTALK
Your best bet of finding anything worth reading is by looking back to books that were written long before you were born.
You’ll learn that most new books aren’t really telling us anything new at all. At best they’re repeating watered down versions of what the ancients already told us — and at worst, spouting complete nonsense.
Out with the new, in with the old.

@mehak_karma@kayrmn@DrFirdousBibi Thank you so much for the kind words and for checking out the book! 😊 I made the copyright page myself. It’s fairly simple. I don’t think you need to use a service for it.

This is such a great point! The tools we use really do say a lot about our creative process. A laptop buried under 47 tabs feels very relatable 😄
I love the idea of seeing what physical items other authors keep close — notebooks, pens, little rituals, etc.
Would love to include NovelHive’s “bag” if we launch the section! Thanks for the encouragement 💫
Thursday gentle thought: Sometimes the best writing happens when you stop forcing it and let life fill you up first. A walk, a conversation, a quiet moment — the words often follow. ♡ #WritersLife#KRBOOKTALK

@KRBOOKTALK This would be such a fun series. It’s always interesting to see the physical tools authors use. For us, it’s mostly just a laptop and way too many browser tabs open in NovelHive. Looking forward to seeing what everyone carries!
