Day after the election and I'm still beyond knackered from it but I would love to thank @BJTC_UK for the opportunity to report on my very first election. I had an absolute blast and interviewed 3 candidates!
As a memento I'm going to crochet an election blanket.

Sadly Sunderland has declared the result first. A loss that was expected with a high turn out for Central and West. But there was an extremely high Reform vote that I didn't expect that came from Sunderland. We will see how it compares in Newcastle.

In relation to green energy, in the North East it would be focused on wind farms, as well as insulating homes. Improving already existing homes to be more energy efficient as well as having that added to the new social housing.
Just spoken to John Pearson the Newcastle Central and West @TheGreenParty candidate. He said if he won that he would add in the manifesto plans such as raising the minimum wage, and benefits by Β£40.

With issues around the NHS he said that there are plans to sort the doctors pay and other health professionals as well as providing more dentist appointments.
First live finished on NLive radio, great to give my result time predictions and a bit of information about the candidate expected to win.
