I know a lot of Ranger fans are hesitant on wanting the Rangers to do a full tear down rebuild, I get it

And let’s be honest, The Rangers and Drury probably aren’t rebuilding anyway

And I am not someone who genuinely thinks a full tear down is the best route for most teams… but this Rangers team, specifically, it’s the best route still IMO

When all your best Cs, Ds, and Gs are entering or already in their 30s and you’re going on back to back non-playoff seasons(including a 30th placed season). And your overall prospect pool is in the bottom 12 to 15 in all of hockey….

And you’re coming off a trade deadline that saw you trade your best forward for pennies on the dollar….

It’s extremely hard to justify trying to add to this roster rather than tearing it all down, it’s just not in a healthy place, team building wise. The present is bleak and the future isn’t much brighter currently
