Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling & to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, & authority, before all time and now & forever. Amen. Jude 1:24
One of the worst plagues in our society today is that of hatred. It’s reflected in our political discourse, on social media, and sadly found even in our churches. But we have to love people. Otherwise, we can't win them to Christ. Let’s ask him to fill us with his love today.
The truth is, we don’t need a list of 75 dos and don’ts. Just how about this: “Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption” (Ephesians 4:30).
God has not only graciously given us forgiveness of sins, but also put his Holy Spirit in us. Some of us don’t think about that; so we run off at the mouth & get nasty attitudes with folks, never thinking it saddens the one who lives in us, who is there to help us be like Christ.
“You will have to live with the consequences of everything you say. What you say can preserve life or destroy it; so you must accept the consequences of your words.”
Proverbs 18:20-21 GNT
“Cling to your faith in Christ, and keep your conscience clear. For some people have deliberately violated their consciences; as a result, their faith has been shipwrecked “
1Tim 1:19 NLT
For I am about to do something new.See, I have already begun!Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness.I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. Isa 43
Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. Isaiah 40
