@TylerDurden My reason for a medium rare order is that it often comes overcooked to a medium which is what I actually like the most. And if by chance they do nail a medium rare I don’t mind. It’s still good. I just got tired of ordering medium & getting medium well to well.
@Rothmus Using the blessed name of Jesus to feed your own narcissistic “main character syndrome “ is just sick and so disgustingly predictable these days.
@Lawton_Braves If I’m being honest, most other groups would have been much more ruthless in regards to the indigenous population in the Americas. The Christian ethic, while imperfect because people are involved, was a restraining factor and I’m glad it was.
@RRR0BYN Went to a graduation recently. They whoop & yell like they're at a football game. No decorum. Zero reverence for any aspect of society. It's all peacocking with utter disregard for everyone else trying to enjoy an event without their self centered crap.
@MilennialBoom Why are you wrong on everything you are saying? The South is not generationally Republican. And your claim no great cities were built by Republicans is a half truth at best. It only became a political party in 1854.
@shortfinal32@NvyPtrt1795@CasuallyGreg That is exactly right. 10% of a family meal you could get in a restaurant in the 90s for $20 is like $2. The same meal today is likely $70 w/ a 10% tip at $7. So let's say they only got $5 a table for 4 tables & there's $20 an hour on top of their hourly pay. And @ $7 a table...
@MetanoiaEM@NvyPtrt1795@CasuallyGreg A machine made my coffee this morning for no tip at all while I was on my way to do my job that no machine can replace. I still don't get exorbitant tips despite the fact that if I don't do my job society grinds to a halt.
@shortfinal32@NvyPtrt1795@CasuallyGreg I think the people who think 15% was the normal rate are younger than us. It was always 10%, like you said, until a decade or two ago when the percentage started it's rise. Not sure where it stops.
@Castiglion53431@TheRabbitHole The "Millennial" title covers too large a time frame honestly. Being born in the early 80's was significantly different than the early 90's. In fact, a lot of these time frames are overly broad.
@AlexanderGRubi2 But given the Aztec trajectory and realistic likelihoods, it's much more likely that Tenochtitlan would be rubble hidden by a jungle given the violence their culture had devolved into, or alternatively, it would have been taken by the English descendants in the absence of Spains.
@FeastOnHisFlesh@Southern_Living Imagine moving to a foreign land & having the sheer audacity to presume you have any place claiming you define their regional culture when your whole lineage there is barely measured in decades if that much. Acutely offensive.
