🌟 Our 3rd-year fellow Kandice Roberts completed a two-week global oncology rotation in Kenya, working with her mentor @ThomasOdeny, & local clinicians to prepare for her Phase II trial on using propranolol for Kaposi Sarcoma.

Tonight, in a moment of complete serendipity, I found myself in a lecture on research led by my brother’s hematologist/oncologist, Dr. Michael Jordan (Cinci Children’s). I finally got to meet the man who unknowingly helped inspire my career. What an incredible ending to #ASH23
