Touching can stimulate it, prolonging the seizure (causing long respiratory distress, and increasing the likelihood of brain damage).

Additional info:
If there is no external stimulation, the seizure will usually subside within 2–3 minutes.
However, if it lasts longer than 5 minutes, or if another seizure occurs within 24 hours without the animal regaining consciousness, please contact a veterinary clinic
