@limefatcat@avillanueva3rd@ucf_problems@CardPurchaser Thinking you know anything about me, or my character, from a eBay message because I left a bad review on someone who wasn’t giving a response until I left a bad review, is just arrogant.
You know nothing about me, our company, or what we’ve done to help people.
@CardPurchaser
-Seller didn’t disclose damage (actually put it was Near Mint and Flawless)
-Didn’t fix issue when I contacted originally, offered a discount on another purchase
-Left negative review
-Tells me it’s BS that I left a bad review
Am I in the wrong here?
@SeverinsCards@CardPurchaser Funny how you’re gonna block someone with 5 star reviews and almost no issues ever with thousands of purchases a month over one thing lmao
@NFL1stLook Ironically I’ve been burnt on photos far more than description (deceptive angles for example)
And eBay will back a buyer based on description for more than photos from what I’ve learned
@limefatcat@avillanueva3rd@ucf_problems@CardPurchaser In the description he put Near Mint.
I apologize, he didn’t put flawless.
Clearly we have WAY different standards for what we’d say is “excellent”
To me, I’d have marked this card as Very Good, and clearly disclose this damage in the description. I’ve done it for less.
@RandyTreibel@CardPurchaser This.
100% this. That’s my standard as a seller. Giving multiple options is fine, but definitely give the return option.
By the response of everyone else, I have WAY higher expectations as a seller of myself to make it right, than what they would have.
@RareAirSports@CardPurchaser Good enough to know if there’s significant damage like that? Yes because every single card we buy gets processed twice by two eyes:
-We sort it into categories
-We take it out of whatever it’s in and mag or topload it
Less than 0.01% of our orders have a damage issue.
@BarryDeanDecko@CardPurchaser My other post showed him saying it was excellent.
Not the actual listing where he marked it as Near Mint- Which is what eBay cares about
@RandyTreibel@CardPurchaser Yeah I guess to me, asking to make it right and getting a response of “if you give me another chance I’ll give you a discounted one a bunch of overpriced cards” isn’t making it right.
To each their own there
@kungfu_kenny__@CardPurchaser He offered me a discount on a bunch of cards in his shop that are 200%+ comps 😂
And nothing I’d consider wanting.
Didn’t know marking a listing as Near Mint doesn’t matter
Idk as a seller I’d either offer a return or a partial refund, maybe that’s just me though.
@RareAirSports@CardPurchaser We sell 3,000+ cards a week.
When I’m buying, I have about 5 seconds to check card, listing and description and snap buy.
I can’t look “carefully”, I rely on sellers descriptions at a quick glance. Also never had a seller try saying they won’t provide a refund for this.
@avillanueva3rd@ucf_problems@CardPurchaser For the record:
I tried resolving.
After 12 hours of waiting on a response and getting none, I left negative feedback. (I’m too busy to wait a day or two I’d forget)
Then I got a response within 10 minutes.
He only responded again cause I gave negative feedback.
