For a moment, the world exists in that delicate shade of blue. I sit with it, peacefully wordless. The light exists without asking to be named. Some things are more beautiful that way. I let it have the final say as it fades into another February evening.
The gentle breeze reminds me to close my eyes and take it all in. Scenes worthy of the word, yet the words, mine, often fall short. Some things are better off felt and experienced, like how blue the sky gets right before sunset, and how it washes everything in a tender hue.
I can see my hour is staring at me, as they were when I looked down, shooting jealousy and empathy from their little eyes, while my body is flying high as a lightning running before it fades, mixing with gold threads scattering on the surface calling me to hurry.
Get off me! I screamed.
I want me… I want my body… I want my soul! I shouted.
Thick clothes, as the crescent of the month’s end, found their way into my insides. A thunderous explosion took lead of it, the slipping hot blood on my body. God this is painful, excruciating.
