Overall the Russian Delegation received a Commendation for their efforts during the conference. Well done everyone and particular thanks to Mr Ball for giving up his weekend to drive our minibus, particularly given the weather conditions on Saturday.

Louisa K (Science & Tech Cttee) received a Highly Commended; Ollie H (Environment Cttee) was Commended; Sophie R (Human Rights) not only Highly Commended but also Best Young Delegate. And Riya M was awarded Best Delegate in the Security Council - a tremendous achievement.

Our students worked hard and were rewarded with recognition in the form of Commended, Highly Commended and Best Delegate awards in their Committees.

We are just back from the 2024 weekend-long conference (Fri night to Sun afternoon) @KingswoodSchool #BISMUN where our 11 students represented the countries of Angola and Russia.

Model United Nations is a very special club which allows young students to engage with real global issues, and to bring their fresh perspective to debates on how to resolve the issues through listening, negotiation, and compromise.

Our second day at #BISMUN @KingswoodSchool. Our delegations of Russia and Angola have been working hard in their committees. It’s the General Assembly now and the emergency scenario. The Russian Ambassador is proposing an amendment but sadly it is voted down by the GA.

And we’re off! Our first #MUN conference of the year with #EngagewithChina @engage_china. We are debating resolutions around the #climatecrisis with schools from around the world. We are looking forward to a great day of debating. #GoodCOP

King's has been named in the country's top 1% of sporting schools. In the last 12 months, we have climbed 98 places to reach the Top 30 ranking.
To add to this achievement, we are the only school in Worcester to appear in the Top 165.

13 pupils recently joined 300 students at the Bath International Schools' MUN Conference, where they represented 66 member states in 2 days of intense debating. They discussed topics such as women’s rights, AI & climate change. Read how they got on at https://t.co/bOurlPiW2h.

As our Junior Ski Trippers head off to the slopes of Italy today, it's the perfect time for a throwback to the Senior trip to Austria.

1/2 The @KSWDrama Removes Production of Godspell Jr last week was quite simply mesmerising from start to finish.

A wonderful ensemble production, filled with brilliant individual and group singing and dancing, it was a powerful, energetic, and moving piece of theatre.

Our Debating Team recently won the Wales & West of England Regional Finals of the English Speaking Union debating competition and will now compete at the very prestigious National Finals.
