To help preserve Kansas reservoirs, we're working to reduce sediment runoff.

We're planning a water-injection dredging demonstration with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Tuttle Creek Lake in June to determine if this will be a viable management tool for Kansas reservoirs.

Impacts: Reduced cattle herds and water supplies and increased fire risk
