Wonder CEO Marc Lore just announced they’ve got a machine that can crank out 500 Chipotle-style burrito bowls an hour with "zero errors" because humans always mess up the portion sizes.
But he is getting absolutely hammered in the comments.
People are pushed to the limit with this tech. One comment reads, "We would never go to a place where humans don't make the food. Is the price even going to be cheaper?" Another said, "These tech CEOs get such a big head. They think they're doing society a service when nobody wants this, yet they’re going to shove it in our faces anyway."
Corporate wants a flawless automated conveyor belt, but people just want a human behind the counter giving them a little extra scoop of chicken. The disconnect is wild.
