CANNABIS DETOX STACK -> how to unloser yourself by leveraging pharmacology the RIGHT way
I’ve shared numerous studies showing the detrimental properties of cannabis. Now let’s discuss what happens to you when you quit, and how to attenuate withdrawals and build a protocol to launch yourself into a new chapter of optimal cognitive function
I will cover:
1) how to replace cannabis with more optimal compounds
2) how to mitigate the rebound anxiety and paranoia
3) how to fix your appetite and vagus nerve stimulation
4) how to no longer rely on cannabis for sleep
Lock the fuck in, stoners
1) REPLACING CANNABIS
Cerebrolysin:
So we destroyed countless neurons in the hippocampus, specifically cortical neurons that could’ve matured and carried important transcriptional tasks. Time to grow new ones, or make young neurons grow into the dentate gyrus to take their place. That’s what cerebrolysin is for; it’s a library of peptides that induces strong growth factors and attenuates cognitive damage. Run a cycle of this before doing anything else (10mL x 15 days)
9-Me-BC:
Anyone who’s tried to cold turkey high dose THC can attest to how difficult it is to quit. The cravings, noise, and abject boredom associated with it can be unbearable
The first compound to begin fully replacing cannabis is going to be 9-Me-BC. By preventing the breakdown of dopamine and strengthening dopaminergic neurons, we find that life can become enjoyable again without getting stoned. It also repairs damage to dopamine transmission
Stimulants:
Must I really explain this? Replace a laziness-promoting cognitive decline tool with a cognitively enhancing class instead. That said, nothing that blocks DAT should be taken with MAOis (explained in a separate post)
HM:
• IN insulin
• Psychedelics
• Dihexa
2) REBOUND ANXIETY & PARANOIA
NSI-189 and Mexidol:
Further grow & induce hippocampal neurogenesis, reduce depressive symptoms, and mitigate rebound anxiety; these 2 compounds are the perfect synergy. NSI targets TLX, a nuclear receptor responsible for regulating stem cell differentiation, while Mexidol reduces inflammatory signaling and anxiety as well as enhancing cerebral blood flow
Guanfacine:
By acting as an α2A-adrenoceptor agonist in the brain and central nervous system, guanfacine reduces peripheral sympathetic tone similar to cannabis without the brain fog and neurotoxicity. It also signals cAMP to enhance PFC connectivity and neuronal firing properties. This directly targets the disordered ramp-up state associated with cannabis withdrawal
Etifoxine:
Literally as strong as a benzo, minus the memory loss, akathisia and seizures. Etifoxine is a GABA-A PAM that is noted to increase endogenous neurosteroid synthesis, speculated to be a TPSO ligand. It is bar none the best and cleanest anxiety medication ever discovered. Don’t want to take it anymore? Great, because Etifoxine has extremely low rebound anxiety upon discontinuation
Memantine OR Agmatine Sulfate:
Cannabis has some nasty off-target effects at glutamate, and discontinuation can cause crippling excitotoxicity. Mitigate that with an NMDA antagonist. This can also stop ruminating thoughts from recurring
3) APPETITE & VAGUS NERVE
ART 27.13:
Imagine if cannabis did nothing to your brain, but only increased and regulated your appetite. This is ART in a nutshell: an endocannabinoid ligand with only 0.7% accumulation in the brain. It’s an excellent appetite stimulant with few off-target effects.
4) FIXING YOUR SLEEP
Simple stack:
• Picamilon
• Lemborexant
• Magnesium L-threonate
• Glycine
If this stack doesn’t work as it would for 99% of people, agomelatine can phase shift you back to a normal sleep time. Further, Dexmedetomidine can replace guanfacine here, although guan has good properties for sleep as well for many users
If you follow these principles, and dive down the rabbit hole of pharmacology for enhancing yourself rather than dulling your brain, you’ll forget cannabis ever existed
“Reach out if you’re suicidal” most people get violently uncomfortable if your mental health crisis manifests in anything beyond long drives together and crying sometimes
Anorexia is so evil because I 100% believe that even if someone could fully recover and manage to get their life back, they will never ever forget how good anorexia felt. The feeling of being small, getting attention, and having control even though they were deteriorating.
