Hey KIITians! You absolutely nailed it! Check out these highlights from the Special Convocation for international students, Class of 2026.
And guess what? This is just the tip of the iceberg! The future is yours to shape!
Today evening, as Shri Anant Ambani Ji hosted a special dinner for my 40,000 KISS children, I felt very happy.
I could see the excitement and joy on their faces. They celebrated the birthday by cutting a cake, dancing, and spending time together with so much happiness. These simple moments of togetherness mean a lot to them. When my children are happy, I feel happy. This is my true happiness.
We all at KISS appreciate the care and affection of Shri Anant Ambani Ji towards our children. He has announced scholarships for them, will take our topper students to Vantara to learn and experience new things, and has also offered job opportunities to 30 KISS students every year in the Reliance Group.
For children coming from very humble tribal families, this means a lot. It gives them confidence and a new path in life.
Happy and honoured to receive the CAHO Outstanding Leader Award in Chennai today at CAHOCON 2026, the 10th edition of the Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organizations’ annual conference.
This honour means a lot to me, as it recognises our continuous efforts in the fields of education, social transformation and healthcare. Through KIMS, we have always tried to provide affordable, accessible and compassionate care to the people.
I also feel happy to remember that KIIT had the opportunity to host CAHOTECH 2025, which created a meaningful platform for discussions on healthcare technology and innovation.
For many years, we have been quietly working to bring healthcare closer to people, especially those who need it the most. I thank the President, Vice President and Secretary of CAHO for recognising this small effort.
Receiving this honour encourages me to continue this journey with more sincerity, care and responsibility.
Being part of @KIITUniversity at this moment feels special. Athletes from 52 countries competing here reminds us how far this institution has come under the vision of @achyuta_samanta. Proud to witness this global sporting atmosphere on our campus. #BeachVolleyballAtKIIT
Today, KIIT -DU completes 22 years of its journey.
When we began on 16th February 2004, it was with a simple dream — to create an institution where education would give confidence, character and opportunity to every child who walks through its gates. Step by step, with the support of our students, teachers, staff, alumni and well-wishers, that small beginning has grown into a strong family.
On this Foundation Day, I offer my gratitude to everyone who has been part of this journey. Whatever KIIT is today has been built through collective effort, discipline and belief.
My blessings are with all our students. May KIIT continue to serve society with sincerity, and may we always remain rooted in values as we move forward.
Today, we proudly celebrate the 22nd Foundation Day of KIIT Deemed to be University.
From a modest beginning in 2004 to becoming a globally recognised university, this journey has been shaped by the dedication of our students, faculty, staff, alumni and well-wishers. Over the past 22 years, KIIT has steadily grown with a clear focus on academic excellence, research, innovation, sports and social responsibility.
As we celebrate this milestone, we reaffirm our commitment to nurturing talent, expanding global partnerships, and contributing meaningfully to society through quality education and inclusive growth.
Gratitude to every member of the KIIT family for being part of this remarkable journey.
Happy to see our KISS Rugby Boys and Girls teams representing India at the Asia School Rugby Sevens Championship in Bangkok. Our children have come a long way through discipline and hard work. Wearing the Indian colours itself is a matter of pride.
This victory belongs to the girls and to every child who is trusted before being judged. From humble backgrounds to standing on an international podium, these daughters of Odisha have shown what belief and opportunity can achieve. My best wishes to everyone involved.
For the first time, Odisha has the honour of hosting the AAPI Global Summit, with the Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences as its venue. It is a moment of quiet pride to welcome doctors of Indian origin from across the world to our land.

We wish Priyanshu every success as he represents Odisha at the India Skills Competition, and we are confident he will continue to make the state and the university proud.
The visit of Prof. Scott Holmstrom, Professor of Physics and Engineering Physics and Dean of the Graduate School at the University of Tulsa, marks a significant step in strengthening global academic collaboration at KIIT. The established 2+2 program between KIIT and the University of Tulsa reflects a shared commitment to providing students with a truly international education, enabling them to earn degrees from both institutions while gaining cross-cultural academic exposure.
Prof. Holmstrom’s interaction with KIIT and KISS faculty, administrators, and students underscores the depth of engagement and mutual trust between the two universities. His appreciation of KIIT’s rapid growth, vibrant academic ecosystem, and strong faculty–student connect within just three decades reaffirms KIIT’s standing as a globally relevant institution.
Such visits further reinforce KIIT’s vision of fostering meaningful international partnerships that enrich student experiences and create global learning pathways.
