Last night at UFC 326, Charles “Do Bronx” Oliveira defeated Max “Blessed” Holloway by unanimous decision over 5 rounds in one of the most anticipated fights of the year.
The first thing Oliveira posted on X after the fight: “Obrigado Jesus, só vamos. Thank you Jesus, let’s go.”
This is nothing new for Oliveira. Throughout his entire UFC career, win or lose, he always thanks Jesus Christ. He is one of the most openly Christian athletes in the UFC.
What makes this fight special is that both men share the same faith. Max Holloway, known as “Blessed,” is a devout Christian from Hawaii. He has the word “Jesus” tattooed across his chest and Psalm 144 tattooed on his arm: “Blessed be the Lord my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight.” His nickname is not just a brand. It is a statement of faith.
After the final bell, the two men embraced and paid their respects to each other.
Arizona State WR Jordyn Tyson predicted the Cleveland Cavaliers to win the East.
He met with Andrew Berry and Todd Monken with the Browns and would love to join his brother, Jaylon, in Cleveland.
The Rondale Moore news is heartbreaking. Will never forget the first time I watched him tear up Ohio State. Sickening how his final years went down.
Rest in peace
