@MatrixMysteries Or maybe instead ask the question what was the divide between the rich and poor at the time, compared to now? There’s only so much pie, and regardless of who stays home to look after the kids/house if the 1% are hogging it then the rest of us will be poorer.

@elonmusk Or actually support families, especially women - maternity, post natal, free childcare, flexible working, free nutritious school meals. Teach men to be better fathers, and if they turn out to be the worst fathers support women to be able to leave them and still be able to live.

Shocking new directive: Today, the Taliban's Minister of Vice and Virtue announced a ban on adult women's voices in each other's presence. In August, the Taliban banned women's voices in public, deeming it provocative. Women protested to this ban by singing and poetry.

@chrischirp They really ought to include single parent families in that grouping too. It’s bad enough getting covid once as a single parent but you’re continually exposed through school etc and multiple exposures can make you really unwell long term.

@johnthejack This is great but these are fairly young women aged 28- 36. The average age of diagnosis is 50. Also HPV is a main, but not the only, cause of cancer. I think it is concerning that other causes of cervical cancer are no longer being screened for to save money.
