I spent time working with the council with some incredible advocates on gun violence issues for several years; CM Allen was one of our best allies. Unfortunately the Mayor refused to fund evidence based strategies that actually work. Mendo wasn’t much better

My baby girl is 6 month old today. Everyday, I get notifications from daycare on what she is doing, how much she ate and napped, etc. Today, I got sent a photo of her in the park, holding a LGBTQ pride flag while being read a book celebrating Pride.

As a parent, I was thrilled.
