“Today, I can finally say that this chapter of my life has come to and end.”
Brigadier Mokwele reacting to the decision by the state to withdraw charges against her. She’s expressed gratitude to those who stood behind her.
I know most of you love her and think she is infallible. But truth be told, here, Commissioner Sesi Baloyi got it completely wrong. No one in the right mind can accuse Fadiel Adams of being a "thinking and responsible member of parliament". Aowa.
The Madlanga Commission has highlighted the brilliance of a number of young advocates.
Advocate Lee Segeels-Ncube’s questioning of Fadiel Adams is exceptional. 🔥🔥🔥
CREDENTIALS OF SANDILE KHUMALO SC
Commissioner Sandile Khumalo's Academic and Professional credentials are simply mindblowing!!! 🙆♀️😭 Knowing this about him, should make lawyers coming before him to represent their clients, to think very carefully about who they are dealing with. In Sesotho we say " ba itukise, ba ipeye hantle". 😂 This video outlines clearly how he earned that seat as a Commissioner alongside Justice Madlanga and Commissioner Sesi Baloyi.
Matriculated at Barnato Park High, studied LLB at former Rand Afrikaans University, now UJ, Diploma in Corporate Law, Diploma in Advanced Banking, went to the Netherlands to do Master of Law in International Business Law at Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, one of the prestigious legal academies in Europe, and passed with distinction/Cum Laude.
He came back home, admitted as an Advocate in 2002, joined Duma Nokwe Advocates in Sandton. After 2 years in practice, he was awarded the African Advocate Award, where he went to spend 18 weeks in London, working at the 18 Red Line Chambers and Matrix Chambers in London, working alongside the Queens's Council and members of the British Bench.
Coming back home, he did not chase the often high paying criminal cases, he focused on honing his skills in PENSIONS, RETIREMENT FUNDS, EMPLOYEE BENEFITS, where the real money in this country is hidden. He specialized in Employee Benefits and Pensions law, and built his practice around them. He has served as a Trustee of many Trust Funds that manage Civil Servants Retirement funds, including Alexander Forbes. He teaches Pensions Law on a part time basis to Law students. He has also acted as a Judge in the court of law, written judgements.
We thank you Commissioner for your service to the country. We now understand your passion in the way you handle witnesses that appear before you. 🙏🏽

I’m in love with this sentence:
“Every pattern in your life repeats until you learn the lesson. The moment you choose differently, the loop ends and growth begins.”
In my opinion , Advocate Ramsamy should be considered to head IDAC.
What we’ve seen and heard at the Madlanga Commission has shown the entire country her integrity and commitment to the truth.
If she were ever to switch sides like Johnson allegedly did, the humiliation would be monumental given the standard she has publicly set for herself.

When someone gets caught in lies BEFORE they even start testifying at the Madlanga Commission, you just know their evidence is going to be an absolute crime scene.
Fadiel Adams is scheduled to appear before the Madlanga Commission tomorrow.
He is a significant witness because he made the Section 27 referral to the Independent Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC).
Adams has also claimed that confidential documents were slipped under his door at Parliament, a potentially important allegation given the broader issues before the Commission concerning the leaking and handling of sensitive information.
His testimony could shed light on what prompted his Section 27 referral;
the information and documents he received;
who may have been behind the alleged delivery of confidential documents;
whether the documents were linked to allegations being investigated by IDAC; and what happened after he raised the matter with the authorities.
Tomorrow’s testimony could therefore be significant in tracing the origins of the IDAC investigation and the flow of confidential information.
Last week, Parliament suspended Adam’s for 20 days after he shared personal information on social media relating to another issue.

If "I'm here to assist the Commission" was a person. 😅 My girl Dru Ramsamy came through and made the Commission's work so easy. She and Raphesu were excellent. She has balls that men twice her age do not have. Our VVIP. 🥰

Basically, what Matthew Sesoko is saying is that, he is 61 years old, towards the end of his career. He paid a heavy price in his previous job at IPID when he exposed wrong things done by seniors, even testified at the Zondo Commission, to a point of getting depressed. So he consciously decided when he got to IDAC he will not rock the boat. Basically he chose to tow the line. Integrity? 🤷🏽♀️

Madlanga Commission recommend criminal prosecution of General Sibiya.
He must keep an overnight bag and padkos ready at all times.
Fridays have become unpredictable.
① Brunello Cucinelli 🇮🇹 → The ultimate exponent of authority. Its structured cuts shape the body and project an absolute status.
② Loro Piana 🇮🇹 → The definitive investment in raw materials. Unattainable elegance for those who need giant logos to feel important.
③ The Row 🇺🇸 → Minimalism taken to perfection. Sober and precise lines that make you dominate any event.
④ Zegna 🇮🇹 → Pure mastery in patterns. Designed to broaden your shoulders, improve your posture, and convey authority.
⑤ Brioni 🇮🇹 → The most refined industrial elegance on the planet. You dress in this and silently communicate to your entire surroundings that you are the one who makes the final decisions.
QUOTE OF THE DAY
❝If it was in a normal way I was going to tell him that you are not giving us fokol but the problem now he is an honourable member.❞ ~ Mantsha Raphetsu #MadlangaCommission
A docket exists regarding the potential prosecution of Johnson.
Johnson is facing allegations of utilizing her personal email account, during her tenure as a senior prosecutor, to transmit a confidential criminal complaint to Khan. This document reportedly contained details of an assault case filed against Khan by a colleague, which purportedly enabled him to proactively construct his legal defense. Johnson is exercising her right against self-incrimination.
Madlanga has expressed a concern regarding potential prejudice should Mr. Johnson proceed. He is seeking clarification on the specific conditions under which a witness can be assured that their statements will not be used against them.
Madlanga references a schizophrenic approach implied by Brown Mogotsi, in which he refused to answer so as not to incriminate himself.
Madlanga asserts that the witness presented compelling evidence, indicating that she provided information to Khan. Madlanga suggests that Jonnson had an opportunity to offer a rebuttal. He maintains that the robust nature of the evidence supports the veracity of the witness's statements. He further notes that the absence of a counter-argument could lead to the inference that she indeed shared a docket.
