Draven is poised to make a big comeback in #RBVendetta. Truthfully, he was always really strong in spite of the bans. Here's what I will be playing week 1 of the new season if I lock Draven.
If you plan on winning "Best of" with Akali, I'd start playing her at your Nexus Night this week, so it's muscle memory by RQ season. This is the result of my two weeks testing the deck.
@MreMOEtional Agreed. Fundamentals get you most of the way, but the last step is reading the game state instead of autopiloting. When I first started Riftbound, I threw away material needlessly. Understanding when to hold back led to more dynamic games, and that's when things opened up for me.
I don't put much stock in these things, but it's fun to look back and reflect. Here's how the #Riftbound Unleashed season went for me: 41 matches, a 73% win rate, and a peak that put me in the top 3% of 46,137 players. Annie carried a lot of that.
Nasus just took down a 47-person #RBVendetta tournament! Is he going to be a meta contender this season, or a flash in the pan from early sub-Tier-1 results? Any deck that plays Bellows + Watcher can't be too bad, right?
@housesarebig I love following along w the Shen cooking. I may not play him but I feel like I’m gaining a shared experience following along. Best of cooks are truly a special journey lol
Akali is going to be one of the most popular Best of legends. Creative deckbuilding will be key to winning with her this season. People rightfully keyed in on Stellacorn Herder and Jhin, but almost nobody runs Vilemaw, and it's been insane. Here's where I'm at for #RBVendetta:
It's cool to see Kai'sa make a comeback with a 2nd place finish at @NovaRiftbound 's TCGArena Online $2K Showdown. Much respect to for putting this one so we could see some early #RBVendetta brews! Will Kai'sa be mainstay in the upcoming constructed season?
Asgaardian sent us some free sleeves to try out, so I rocked them for my #RBVendetta Pre-rift. Over five rounds they shuffled well and had no sleeve breaks at all. They also come with 104 sleeves, which I thought was pretty generous. If limited becomes a competitive format in Riftbound (I hope it does), that kind of quality and quantity together will be huge.
