MSÜ Rektörünün X platformundan 24.03.2026 tarihinde yaptığı paylaşım karşısında bir açıklama yapma zorunluluğu doğmuştur.

Öncelikle; Gazeteci Müyesser Yıldız 23.03.2026 tarihli yazısında, duruşmada tarafımca söylenmeyen herhangi bir şey yazmamıştır.

İkinci olarak; Rektör açıklamasında “Benim, iddia edildiği biçimde bir hareketim veya sözüm olmamıştır.” şeklinde beyanda bulunmuş ise de; dava dosyasında olaya ilişkin disiplin soruşturması belgeleri bulunmaktadır. Bu belgeler arasında yer alan Dekan Yardımcısının ifadesinin ilgili bölümü;

“… Cumhurbaşkanını uğurlamak için dışarıya çıkmış bulunan Rektörümüz Prof. Dr. Erhan AFYONCU beni telefon ile arayarak “Tribünde misin” dedi ben de “evet” dedikten sonra “Sahada ne oluyor, takip et” dedi. Ben de tribünde bekleyen fotoğrafçıyı sahaya göndererek olayları kayıt altına almasını söyledim.” şeklindedir.
