Outlawing ecocide (causing death through eg climate change) would hold governments and corporations accountable for environmental negligence. A good idea.

We also should not trade with countries who deny climate change.

This is a sustainable solution. We give the moth, a potential natural ally, 1) alternative food and don't try to kill it off with substances that could cause immense harm to the planet and 2) we simply hide our clothes to protect them.
It's simple, safe, sustainable.
