All my friends who are good at English are either 1) their language skills are very high in general or 2) they are like American/ British/ Australian or etc. I am neither. Hope I will get there eventually

I really need to improve my English speaking skills. It seems that language and culture is attached, and I have no English culture in me. So, English is not natural in me, which makes it difficult for me to speak the language :)

一見普通の見た目の人のファッションに違和感を感じたから、なんだろうな〜と考えてたらマスクをしてないことだった。自分の中でマスクは顔の上にあって然るべき、という認識になってるみたいで少し驚きました😗

成田さんの発言は「自分が高齢者であったら」と考えると気持ちの良いものではないのかもしれないと思いつつも、議論を進めるきっかけにもなるからとても良いと思う。でも、その発言だけ英語で読むと全く違う印象。特に彼を知らない人にはインパクトが強そう😅

I feel like i am a pervert lately. I cant stop looking at high school girls' uniforms on the street to check if they are from my school. My students are very educated and polite, so no worries about anything, I tell myself.

I was hearing my students' conversation on the train going to school this morning. They excitedly said that class was 5 minutes shorter than usual. I was like how come a teacher can miss such an announcement! But, I was right. It wasn't shortened at all !

My boss sitting next to me in the office often watches something unrelated to work. He may think that he is watching it secretly because there is a wall between us, But, I can totally tell it's an action movie or something. I can hear the sounds through his headphones lol
